Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with full-cycle AP and AR.
• Experience with month-end close procedures.
• Strong understanding of three-way matching.
• Experience with account and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Process invoices, payments, customer transactions, and related accounting entries.
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and vendor invoices.
• Assist with the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, customer accounts, and general ledger activity.
• Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Review accounting transactions for accuracy and proper coding.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with audits, reporting requests, and other accounting projects as needed.
• Work closely with internal departments, vendors, and customers to resolve accounting issues.
• Support the Accounting Manager/Controller with additional accounting responsibilities as assigned.
