Qualifications

• US citizen or permanent resident; resided in the U.S. for the last five years.
• Minimum of one year payroll experience.
• 1-year Associate Degree in Accounting in lieu of experience.
• Criminal background and consumer credit check required (no criminal record).
• Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance.
• Pass all pre-employment and random drug tests.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid state driver's license.
• Must exhibit a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrate an ability to work with a diverse population; cross-cultural perspective.
• Maintain current/physical residence in the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record employee hours in compliance with CBA guidelines.
• Ensure time sheets are fully completed and include signatures.
• Identify and correct time sheet issues before they become payroll discrepancies.
• Ensure deliverable payroll reports are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain payroll files.
• Process and maintain payroll correction documentation.
• Accurately reconcile processed work by comparing weekly/monthly reports verifying entries.
• Answering the phone and responding to e-mails in a timely manner
• All other duties as assigned.
• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Expected to enforce boundaries during high-priority tasks and professionally limit interruptions, including turning away non-urgent walk-ins during payroll processing.
