Canteen, a division of Compass Group, is seeking an Accounting Coordinator in Asheville, NC to support the financial operations of our hospitality services. You will handle payroll, vendor payables, client accounts, and perform cash and inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

You will partner with operations teams to maintain timely financial records, prepare invoices, and assist with data entry and filing. This role offers growth in a fast-paced environment within Compass Group USA.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Comfort with payroll, AP/AR, and reconciliation processes.
• Clear, professional communication with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and submit HR forms accurately and on time.
• Process vendor payables, prepare payments, and manage journal entries.
• Maintain client accounts and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Reconcile cash received and inventory for accuracy.
• Assist with invoice entry, transfers, and AP research.
• Maintain organized filing of paid invoices.
• Enter and balance purchasing card receipts.
• Enter and maintain inventory data and related records.
• Enter, submit, and follow up on work orders; escalate as needed.
• Support broader team with additional duties.
