Job summary

LLBO is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to handle the financial processing of payables for Facilities Maintenance in Cass Lake, MN. You will process invoices, match against POs, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate AP records.

Strong Excel and accounting software skills are required, with a focus on accuracy and internal controls. The role requires at least a high school diploma (GED) with preference for an associate degree in accounting and prior AP experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in accounting preferred.
• Previous accounts payable or similar accounting experience required.
• Proficiency with accounting software, Excel and Word; data entry essential.

Responsibilities

• Cover the front desk when needed.
• Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment, including PO and receipt matching.
• Ensure payments comply with policies and internal controls; assist with sales tax reporting and audits.
• Reconcile discrepancies between invoices, POs, and payments; maintain organized AP records.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to resolve payment issues and inquiries.
• Attend mandatory meetings and trainings; maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.
