Qualifications

• Three years of full-time work experience in processing financial or related data, including verifying, entering, or maintaining transaction records.
• Three years of education and/or full-time experience with accounting or business coursework.
• Experience in state executive branch with Accounting Support Technician 1 tenure (18+ months).

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes all invoices for the department in a timely manner.
• Receives and processes revenue with the proper revenue code.
• Prepares bank deposits.
• Maintains and reconciles multiple accounts within the centralized financial system.
• Enters activity into the Fiduciary General Ledger and ensures documentation is maintained.
• Reviews and reconciles Fiduciary accounts to weekly banking processes and monthly bank statements.
• Certifies Balance Sheet is balanced and accurate.
• Assists with training in financial systems and provides technical assistance to staff.
• Assists Managers with staff expense reimbursements and travel policy procedures.
• Assists with creating invoices and reviews invoices for federal contracts; ensures payments are received.
