HJ Staffing is seeking an Inventory / Receiving Clerk to join our Houston warehouse team. You will support inbound shipments, perform physical counts, and ensure accurate records throughout the receiving process.

In this fast-paced environment, you will use RF scanners and standard inventory software to verify deliveries, tag items, and maintain orderly storage. Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or inventory control experience.
• Proficient with barcode/RF scanners and basic inventory software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Attention to detail, strong work ethic, reliability, and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments and verify deliveries against purchase orders or BOL.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audit locations for accuracy.
• Scan incoming inventory and label items with barcodes.
• Move materials using pallet jacks or warehouse equipment.
• Log receipts, report discrepancies, and maintain documentation.
• Maintain safe, clean receiving bays in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
