Job summary

HJ Staffing is seeking an Inventory Clerk for a manufacturing client specializing in industrial HVAC equipment. The role emphasizes accurate inventory control, receiving materials, and supporting warehouse operations.

The candidate will count, verify, and record items using ERP or inventory software, keep organized records, and collaborate with purchasing and production to ensure materials are available when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, receiving, or manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software, spreadsheets, or tracking systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged materials.
• Organize, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation.
• Prepare and distribute materials, parts, and supplies needed for manufacturing and production.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production personnel to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Process receiving documentation and maintain organized inventory records.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
