Butler America Aerospace, LLC. in El Segundo, CA, is seeking an Engineering Technician to join the Failure Analysis Team as a Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA) Technician/Analyst.

You will support evaluation of electrical and mechanical components and PWBs, ensuring compliance with military, space, and industry standards. The ideal candidate has laboratory experience, is comfortable using microscopes, hand tools, basic chemical handling, and can document results clearly.

Qualifications

• Laboratory environment experience required or preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Ability to read safety and maintenance instructions.
• Experience with microscopy and dimensional measurements is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Support Destructive Physical Analysis to evaluate PWBs and components.
• Prepare samples, operate lab tools, and document results clearly.
• Assist in interpreting specifications and engineering drawings.
