Job summary

Meet Minneapolis is seeking a Destination Services Manager to act as the primary contact for meeting planners and coordinate comprehensive destination services for groups and citywide conventions at the Minneapolis Convention Center. You will work closely with hotels, venues, restaurants and partners to showcase Minneapolis and enhance attendee experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, event management, business or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years' experience in hospitality, meetings and events, destination services or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Minneapolis area hotels, venues and resources.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Meet Minneapolis contact for assigned planners from ~18 months preceding events through completion.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with planners and destination partners.
• Coordinate site visits, itineraries and appointments with hotels, venues and restaurants.
• Support promotion of Minneapolis to attendees and drive engagement.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high levels of client service.
