Job summary

Meet Minneapolis is seeking a Destination Services Manager in Minneapolis, MN to serve as the primary contact for meeting planners and coordinate destination services for citywide conventions at the Minneapolis Convention Center. You will collaborate with hotels, venues, restaurants, and partners to ensure a successful attendee experience.

The role requires 2+ years in hospitality/events and a Bachelor’s in a related field, with strong project management, communication, and CRM skills.

Qualifications

• : Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
• : 2+ years experience in hospitality, meetings and events; strong knowledge of Minneapolis area.
• : Demonstrated experience working with clients, meeting planners and hospitality partners.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Meet Minneapolis contact for assigned meeting planners, typically beginning approximately 18 months prior to the event and continuing through the event dates.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with meeting planners and destination partners throughout the planning process.
• Coordinate and conduct planning site visits with hotels, venues, restaurants and other partners.
• Support meeting planners in promoting Minneapolis to attendees and enhancing attendance and engagement.
• Consult with meeting planners regarding services and coordinate offerings such as welcome banners, microsite development and service notices.
