Job summary

Hampton Chocolate Factory is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead on the floor, guide team members, and ensure a seamless guest experience while keeping operations organized and efficient. You will partner with the General Manager to roll out store initiatives, train new hires, and maintain high service standards, cleanliness, and food safety across shifts.

This role requires strong leadership and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-volume shifts in food & beverage or restaurant environments.
• Ability to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to deliver a memorable guest experience each shift.
• Oversee shift operations, manage labor, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Lead high-volume shifts with up to 15 team members.
• Motivate and support team to maintain high performance.
• Communicate with leadership to uphold standards and share feedback from guests and team.
• Support rollout of new initiatives and maintain a solution-focused mindset.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations and company policies.
• Troubleshoot basic tech and elevate when needed.
• Track shift performance and report updates to management.
• Lead pre-shift huddles and align on brand values.
• Communicate across Slack and 7Shifts for smooth coordination.
