Job summary

Hampton Chocolate Factory is seeking a Shift Manager to lead on-floor operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences during high-volume shifts. You will supervise a team, optimize labor, and ensure cleanliness, food safety, and stock levels while collaborating with the General Manager.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in fast-paced food service, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in high-volume food & beverage or restaurant environments.
• Desserts or pastries experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proven ability to lead efficient shifts while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and lead-by-example mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-shift operations, monitor costs, and manage labor efficiently.
• Oversee guest experience and ensure high service standards.
• Train and onboard new hires; support team development.
• Motivate staff and reinforce daily habits for a smooth, high-performing shift.
• Communicate with leadership to uphold quality and share guest feedback.
• Support rollout of new initiatives and foster team engagement.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot basic tech issues (e.g., Toast, 7Shifts) and escalate when needed.
