The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking an R&D Manager to lead dessert product development across our dessert brands. You will manage and grow a team of product developers, translating business needs and regulatory requirements into actionable development plans from concept to commercialization.

You will work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, collaborating with R&D, operations, quality, regulatory, marketing, and supply chain.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; plus minimum 6 years of product development experience in CPG/food & beverage; or master’s degree with 5+ years; or PhD with 4+ years.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading, coaching, and developing technical talent
• Strong knowledge of ingredients, product formulation, processing equipment, ingredient interactions, and laboratory test methods
• Proven ability to lead product development and commercialization across multiple projects and priorities
• Strong communication, influencing, project management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with changing priorities
• Strong technical judgment and ability to design experiments, interpret results, and adjust plans
• Self-motivated with ownership in a complex environment
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to internal plants, co-manufacturers, suppliers, and other locations in the US and Canada

Aufgaben

• Lead product development across cross-functional projects and dessert categories, including brand maintenance and portfolio evolution
• Coach and develop a team of product developers, set priorities, and build leadership capability
• Translate business objectives and regulatory requirements into clear development plans; drive execution from concept to commercialization
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive project progress, resolve technical issues, and meet timelines
• Lead product testing, qualification, and commercialization across lab, pilot plant, and production environments
• Provide technical judgment on product, ingredient, process, and formulation challenges and guide problem-solving
