Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Dessert Finisher/Barista to complete our bakery case with precise dessert finishing and espresso beverages in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You’ll glaze strawberries, whip cream and craft espresso drinks to elevate guest experiences.

Prior restaurant or barista experience is preferred; emphasis on safety, teamwork and delivering consistent quality across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality or food service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with beverage preparation and food handling is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Plate and finish desserts with accuracy and presentation.
• Operate an espresso machine to prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages.
• Follow instructions while upholding food safety and handling standards.
• Label, date and rotate products following FIFO practices.
• Work with efficiency, speed and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
• Complete station setup and breakdown, including stocking and closing tasks.
• Support teamwork through clear and effective communication.
• Deliver exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
