Job Summary

An IT Support Desktop Technician is responsible for delivering technical assistance to SNU students and SNU employees encountering computer-related issues. Key duties encompass installing and configuring computer hardware and software, providing both remote and onsite support, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. This role necessitates a robust understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and related technological concepts. Customer services and problems-solving skills are essential, as IT Support Desktop Technicians frequently need to convey technical information to individuals without a technical background.


Responsibilities


  • Provide phone and desktop support, including hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Assist users with password management, printing, and email-related issues.
