Southern Nazarene University is seeking a full-time Sports Medicine staff member to assist with day-to-day operations of the Sports Medicine Department, including staffing training room hours and practice/game coverage.

The role requires providing medical coverage, traveling to away games, communicating injury updates with head coaches, and supporting rehab assignments, all while upholding SNU's Christ-centered mission.

Full Time / Salary / Exempt WORK SCHEDULEMonday-Friday during business hours, weekend hours, travel hours for away games.

JOB SUMMARYAssist with the day-to-day operations of the SNU Sports Medicine Department, which include staffing daily training room hours and practice/game coverage. This position must work within SNU, the GAC and NCAA guidelines to provide student-athletes with exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships. They must have a strong Christian commitment with a vital Christian faith and lifestyle while being supportive of the evangelical Mission of Southern Nazarene University

RESPONSIBILITIESEssential Functions:

• Medical coverage for a variety of sports for home games.
• Travel to away games to provide support for home team staff.
• Daily communication with head coaches for injury updates.
• Assist in daily training room coverage and rehab assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Some college experience in Sports Medicine
• Experience in higher education settings

Supervision Received:

Receives supervision and work assignments from a designated supervisor, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.

Supervision Exercised:

May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees.
