Our client, a prominent organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Desktop Technicianto provide onsite technical support for end users in a fast-paced corporate environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and experience supporting enterprise desktop environments. This role requires a hands-on professional who can efficiently resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Desktop Technician
Baltimore, MD (Onsite)
$25/hr - $30/hr W2 (Dependent on Experience)
What's the Job?
- Provide onsite desktop support for Windows-based workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, printer, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform device imaging, configuration, deployment, refreshes, and asset management activities.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop computers, monitors, docking stations, printers, and related technology equipment.
- Support Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Troubleshoot remote access, VPN, and authentication-related issues.
- Provide white-glove customer service and technical support to employees, executives, and business stakeholders.
- Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests through the organization's ticketing system in accordance with established SLAs.
What's Needed?
- 2+ years of desktop support or technical support experience in a fast-pacedenterprise environment.
- Hands-on experiencetroubleshooting hardware, software, printers, and peripheral deviceswith a strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Experience utilizing ITSM/ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management, or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications and services, as well as familiarity withActive Directory, Azure AD, and account administration.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver white-glove customer service with strongcommunicationand interpersonal skills.
- Experience withMicrosoft Intuneand endpoint management tools.
