Louisiana State University is seeking a Desktop Engineering System Administrator 1 to join the LSUAM FA - ITS - SO - UECM - Desktop Engineering team. The role supports the Enterprise MDM environment and manages deployments, imaging, AD, GPO, certificates, and file/print services.

The ideal candidate has experience with SCCM/Intune in enterprise settings, Windows Server 2019+, and VMware/Hyper-V. On-site work at the Fred C. Frey Computing Services Building is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience.
• Hands-on experience with SCCM and/or Intune in an enterprise environment.
• Understanding of Windows 11 and Windows Server 2019 or higher.

Responsabilités

• Use SCCM to design, build and maintain OS images for deployment via PXE.
• Develop and manage app deployments for campus labs and departments.
• Deploy and manage Intune and related MDM for endpoints across OSes.
• Support student VDI with Windows 365, including pools and licensing.
• Manage enterprise print services and related infrastructure.
• Perform patching, health checks, and change management across the LSU A&M environment.
• Collaborate with ITS Security on software deployments and risk mitigation.
• Create training materials and support documentation; provide Tier 3 support.
