Job summary

Techtronic Industries seeks a motivated IT Desktop Support Specialist for on-site work in Anderson, SC. You will install, configure, and maintain company hardware, software, and operating systems, ensuring secure access and smooth operations for a busy workforce.

Responsibilities include deploying hardware to new users, performing DUO administration, imaging devices, and managing the incident queue in ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent field experience.
• 2 years of experience; A+ certification preferred.
• Knowledge of hardware deployment and basic security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy hardware to new users and upgrade existing equipment.
• Perform DUO administration for users switching phones or needing resets.
• Perform laptop imaging and setup for new and existing employees.
• Provide encryption keys to users as required.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for all company hardware and software.
• Install and configure desktop software.
• Manage Desktop Support incident queue in Service Now, completing or assigning tickets as necessary.
• Update tasks with periodic problem status and resolution information.
• Recommend equipment purchases as needed.
• Perform asset management tasks as required.
• Perform inventory of computer supplies as required.
• Perform necessary Windows updates.
• All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Education: Associates degree in related field or equal years of field experience
• 2 Years of Experience and A+ Certification Preferred
• Knowledge of specific systems or technologies / years or level of experience with each required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times and push a cart containing equipment.
