Job Summary

We’re looking for an IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our team and provide essential technical support to our workforce. This is an entry-level role with a path for growth—ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, wants to build foundational IT skills, and is curious about emerging tech like AI. You’ll work alongside engineers and IT professionals, gaining exposure to advanced systems while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier-1 IT support for hardware (laptops, desktops, peripherals), software (Windows/macOS, Office 365, engineering tools), and basic network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technical issues via help desk tickets, chat, or in-person support.
  • Assist with employee onboarding/offboarding (account setup, access permissions, equipment deployment).
  • Document solutions in our knowledge base and escalate complex issues when needed.
  • Support AV/meeting room tech for hybrid work environments.
  • Learn and assist with basic automation/AI tools (optional growth opportunity).

Qualifications & Skills

  • 0–2 years of IT support experience (internships, labs, or personal projects count!).
  • Basic knowledge of Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, and Network Infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills—ability to explain tech clearly.
  • Eagerness to learn applied tech/AI tools (training provided).
  • Nice-to-have (but not required):
  • Exposure to PowerShell/Python scripting (or interest in learning).
  • Familiarity with Azure, Intune, or AI-assisted help desk tools.
