Software Resources seeks a Technical Support Analyst for a long-term contract in Orlando, FL. The role involves level 2 support of desktops, applications, and related technology within established standards and guidelines. The candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, perform installations, and ensure interoperability with various systems.

Travel locally is required. Certifications such as A+, Microsoft, and CCNA are preferred.

Job description

Software Resources has an opportunity open for a Technical Support Analyst. This is a long term contract in Orlando, FL.

The qualified candidate will assist with level 2 technical support of desktop computers, applications and related technology. Support includes specification, installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines.

The candidate's responsibilities will require independent analysis, communication and problem solving. Work is performed with little supervision and requires initiative and good self-judgment.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide break/fix services for computers, printers, and associated devices.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of PC problems related to hardware, software or network anomalies.
• Work with technical staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems affecting clients.
• Ensure desktop computer interconnects seamlessly with diverse systems including associated storage systems, email servers, computer conferencing system, application servers and administrative systems.
• Verify inventory of equipment.
• Instruct user(s) on how to perform basic functions on PC
• Perform general troubleshooting of PC systems in a distributed enterprise environment.
• Requires local travel.

Experience with A+ computer certification, Microsoft certifications, CCNA and or experience with desktop imaging or scripting preferred.
