We are seeking a customer-focused and technically skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide comprehensive hardware and software support to employees and incoming new hires. This is a hands-on, site-based role supporting Windows, Macintosh, and mobile platforms, with responsibilities covering technical troubleshooting, asset management, hardware deployment, VIP support, and administrative coordination.

What You Will Do:
- Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Image and install software on Windows and Apple devices, including Mac desktops and iMacs.
- Perform IMAC activities, including Installations, Moves, Adds, and Changes.
- Troubleshoot post-deployment hardware and software issues across Windows, Macintosh, and mobile platforms.
- Provide Executive/VIP Support with a high level of professionalism and customer service.
- Troubleshoot, install, and maintain networked printers and resolve printing-related issues.
- Perform hardware refresh, redeployment, asset reclaim, disposal, and replacement activities.
- Coordinate warranty and out-of-warranty repairs and hardware replacements.
- Manage depot services and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate shipping and logistics for IT equipment.
- Support data backup and data recovery coordination.
- Provide Audio and Video support, including equipment health checks.
- Manage IT inventory and assets, including asset tagging and updating records in the asset management system.
- Ensure all incoming equipment is properly recorded, assigned, and tracked.
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for hardware repairs and dispatch support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires.
- Open, manage, track, and close service requests and incidents according to company processes.
- Classify, assign, monitor, and resolve service requests within required standards.
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and application conflicts.
- Prepare weekly physical inventory reports and maintain accurate records of hardware movements and outflows.
- Ensure all technical resolutions comply with company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide walk-up support and assist users with day-to-day technical issues.
- Travel between offices as required, with travel of up to 150 miles.
What You Need:
- 3–5 years of IT experience, preferably including technical training.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Macintosh platforms, including laptops and desktops.
- Experience imaging and deploying Windows 10 operating systems.
- Good understanding of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, Ethernet, and Windows Networking.
- Experience with networked printers, including queue creation and basic server-related support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to use spreadsheets to create formulas, perform calculations, and work across multiple worksheets.
- Experience working in or supporting a help desk, service desk, or call center environment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing requests.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong aptitude for learning and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing environments.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work extended hours or modified schedules when required for planned activities or emergency situations.
- A+ and/or MCP certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle required; mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.
