Job summary

Impact Business Group is seeking a Desktop Support Administrator in Bradenton, FL to deliver hands- on IT support across multiple sites, ensuring smooth operation of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices for a fast-paced workforce.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, assist end users, and maintain inventory while collaborating with IT teammates. The role involves on-site and occasional travel between locations, with a 13-week contract that could convert to full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop support to end users across multiple sites.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related technology.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, connectivity, and application issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and update computer equipment, operating systems, and business applications.
• Respond to technical support tickets, phone inquiries, and walk-in requests, prioritizing issues based on urgency and business impact.
• Support Windows environments, Microsoft Office applications, email systems, security software, and telecommunications services.
• Identify recurring technical problems and implement practical solutions to improve system reliability and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of IT equipment, including hardware inventory, assigned devices, accessories, and system configurations.
• Assist with service desk operations and provide deskside support to employees at multiple facilities.
• Coordinate with other IT team members to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule that includes overnight and weekend availability.
• Travel between company locations as needed to provide onsite technical assistance.
