Job summary

Southwest Medical Imaging, LTD is seeking an IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide first and second level desktop support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and user training. The role requires in-office presence with occasional travel within the greater Phoenix area and adherence to security guidelines in a healthcare IT environment.

You will resolve Tier 1 issues, record tickets, and help maintain knowledge bases while delivering strong customer service and reliable support to clinicians

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in business IT support tier 1.
• Desktop hardware repair experience.
• Experience with modern Windows and Apple OS.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, email, and in-person requests; build rapport and capture details.
• Assess requests and route to appropriate personnel.
• Keep customers informed on status and progress; perform follow-ups.
• Record and track help desk tickets and problem-solving steps.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot desktop hardware/software.
• Provide IT training and assistance to users.
• Develop knowledge base articles and best-practice guidelines.
• Enforce security and privacy requirements on user software and networks.
• Provide 1st/2nd level support for desktop technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
