Job summary

Zone 5 Technologies in Fort Worth is seeking an IT Desktop Support Specialist. You will provide desktop and server support for Windows and some Linux workstations, with emphasis on troubleshooting, maintenance, and user assistance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and server support for Windows systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance).

• Perform routine system maintenance and updates across supported platforms.
• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts or issues as needed.
• Support end‑user accounts, permissions, and access rights following best practices.
• Maintain documentation of procedures, configurations, and system changes.

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented IT Desktop Support Specialist to join our Fort Worth team. The ideal candidate will be either a recent graduate with a strong foundation in IT systems or have 3–5 years of hands‑on experience supporting both Linux and Windows environments. This role focuses on providing technical support for Windows desktop and server systems along with some Linux workstations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and server support for Windows systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance).
• Assist users with software and hardware issues in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Perform routine system maintenance and updates across supported platforms.
• Monitor system performance and respond to alerts or issues as needed.

Pay Range

$38 - $44.23 USD
