We are seeking anexperienced IT SystemsEngineer to maintainandimprove systems infrastructure. The ideal candidate willhave proventrackrecordofsystems engineeringwith increasing responsibilities, and the ability to work collaboratively withvarious engineering, IT, andprogram leadsto implement andmaintainarobust systems infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- DesignandImplementNewInfrastructure:Buildout new infrastructure asrequiredto accommodate growth andnew requirements and decommission end of life systems.
- Support Desktop Team:Provide advancedTier 3 trouble shootingand support to desktop team.
- Project planning:Plan and implement new efforts set forth by leadership.
- Updates and Patching:Maintainpathing and monitoring of infrastructure.
- SecurityInitiatives:Work with IT Security Engineer tomonitorand implement strict security standards.
- Monitoring, Testing and Troubleshooting:Enforce strategies for monitoring, testing, and troubleshootingapplication performance, enterprise infrastructure, security, backup, COOP/DR, and high availability
- Enforce CMMC 2.0 Regulations: Workclosely with CMMC Security Analyst andIT Security Engineer todesign, implement, andmaintainsystemsto CMMC 2.0 standards.

- EducationalBackground:ABachelor\’sdegreeinComputerScience,orarelatedfield.Or five or moreyears’of work experience asaIT SystemsEngineer or related position.
- Experience:five or moreyears’of work experience asaIT SystemsEngineer or related position,withasolidunderstandingofenterprise IT architecture.
- TechnicalSkills:Proficiencyina broad range ofinfrastructuretoolsandtechnologies,includingfirewalls,routing,switching, wireless,andauthentication.Alsoserver operating systems including Windows andLinux.FamiliaritywithprogramminglanguagessuchasPythonorPowershell.
- OSPlatforms:Proficient in Windows,Linuxand Macoperating systems.
- Cloud Platforms:AWS, Azure, and Office 365
- Networking and Infrastructure:Proficientinvlans, VPN technologies,Firewalls, andnetworkingbest practicesin aDOW environment.
- Security Frameworks: Familiaritywith CMMC 2.0 andDfars252.204-712 and NIST 800-171.ISO 27001, and ITAR beneficial.
- U.S. Citizenship
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certifications:RelevantcertificationssuchasCertifiedInformationSystemsSecurityProfessional(CISSP),CompTIAorother industrycertifications.
- Experience:3-5 years of experience in agovernment regulated industry orsimilarhigh security industry.
Pay range for this role
$115,000 — $176,000 USD
