Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is seeking a Desktop Technician to serve as the primary contact for end-user support in the desktop computing environment. The role includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading PCs, peripherals, and mobile devices to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities also cover Windows/Mac OS maintenance, adherence to IT procedures, and occasional travel to corporate or satellite campuses. A 0-3 year background in desktop or field support is expected.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LDAP.
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN/Internet environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide single point of contact for end-users needing desktop support.
• Install, diagnose, repair, and upgrade PC hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot devices and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Travel to Wintrust campuses for on-site support as required.
