Job summary

Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP is seeking a Desktop Services Analyst in Winston-Salem to provide 2nd level hardware and software support, including A/V and conferencing services. The role entails office moves, travel to other Kilpatrick offices, and maintaining an internal knowledge base for efficient IT support.

Applicants should have minimum 2 years in a legal environment, relevant certifications (A+, MCITP, Cisco), and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience using microcomputers, preferably in a legal environment
• Hardware Certification - A+, CompTIA preferred
• Cisco Network Certifications preferred
• Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2010 Expert
• MCITP - Windows, Enterprise Desktop Administrator
• BS Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd level software and hardware support.
• Research application software solutions and assess feasibility of resolutions.
• Install and set up stand-alone software with licensing records
• Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions and training
• Assist with audio, web, and video conference setup and support
• Perform installation and repair of computer hardware and peripherals
• Move computer equipment for office moves
• Maintain inventory records of equipment
• Travel to other Kilpatrick offices to provide desktop support
• Provide remote assistance to other offices
• Track user support calls in ticket system
• Maintain knowledge base and documentation
