Job summary

Synchro in Houston is hiring an experienced Desktop Support Analyst for a 3-month contract to support a Windows 11 migration plus BAU desktop support and onboarding. The role is based in Houston and requires onsite work.

You will build Windows 11 laptops with Intune, handle end-user issues, assist with moves, and support AD, GPO, M365, Exchange, VDI, networking, security, and video conferencing.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows 11 deployments and migrations.
• Strong AD, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and VDI troubleshooting.
• Onsite on Houston project with contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Build and provision Windows 11 laptops using Intune.
• Support desktop issues and onboarding for new users.
• Assist with desk moves and broader workplace technology needs.
• Troubleshoot across AD, GPO, M365, Exchange, VDI, networking, security and video conferencing.

Synchro are working exclusively with a customer who are hiring for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join a Houston-based project, supporting a Windows 11 migration alongside BAU desktop support and user onboarding.

This role will be based in Houston and will require you to be onsite full time. This is an initial 3 month contract which has the potential to extend.

Day to day duties include building and provisioning Windows 11 laptops using Microsoft Intune, as well as supporting desktop and end-user issues & onboarding new users. You'll also support desk moves and wider workplace technology requirements as well as provide troubleshooting across AD, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Exchange, VDI, networking, security and video conferencing.

Required skills & experience

• Strong Microsoft Intune experience, particularly device provisioning and application deployment
• Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira
• Good understanding of ITIL

Experience with the any of the following is desirable, although not essential; Azure / Entra ID, PowerShell, SCCM, Microsoft Defender, Endpoint Manager, Azure Virtual Desktop, Jira & Confluence.
