Job summary

System One is seeking a Desktop Support technician for a multi-year contract onsite in Vienna, VA. You will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end users in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Required: 1–5 years of relevant experience, Windows 11 support, Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams), basic networking and MFA/ phishing concepts. Nice-to-have: ServiceNow, ConnectWise, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, Citrix VDIs; strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of relevant experience.
• Windows 11 support experience.
• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams)
• Basic networking and MFA/phishing concepts.
• Experience with ServiceNow ticketing is a plus.

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end users
• Basic networking knowledge (IP, DNS)
• Basic cybersecurity knowledge (MFA, phishing)
• Ticketing system experience (ServiceNow)

Experience:

• 1-5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with troubleshooting Palo Alto Network Global Protect client issues on Windows endpoints
• Experience with troubleshooting issues on Microsoft Windows 11 operating systems
• Experience with Microsoft M365 productivity software (including, but not limited to: Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams)

Nice to haves:

• Financial/Banking industry experience
• CompTIA A+ Certification
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals Certification
• Experience using ConnectWise Remote Support Software
• Experience using CyberArk Workforce Password Management Software
• Experience troubleshooting Citrix VDIs
