Job summary
Expert Technology Services in New York seeks a Desktop Packaging Engineer to build, test, and deploy Windows and macOS packages for enterprise software delivery.
You will rapidly convert patches into production-ready packages, collaborate with security and deployment teams, and support vulnerability remediation to meet SLAs and governance standards.
Candidates should have 2+ years in desktop packaging, experience with SCCM/MECM or Intune, and strong PowerShell scripting skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (desired).
- 2+ years in desktop engineering or packaging.
- Experience with SCCM/MECM, Workspace One, or Intune.
- Experience deploying enterprise apps.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11.
- Familiarity with SDLC and change management.
- Experience with MSI, MSIX, App-V packaging tech.
- PowerShell scripting proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy Windows and macOS packages.
- Convert patches and security fixes into production-ready packages.
- Collaborate with owners, security, deployment, and support teams.
- Support forced deployments and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Design and develop packaging solutions and infra components.
- Ensure packaging meets performance, scalability, reliability.
- Author and maintain packaging policies, standards, SOPs.
- Monitor performance and capacity to optimize SLA adherence.
- Respond quickly to emerging risks in a dynamic environment.
