Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is seeking an SCCM Desktop Specialist to support a Windows enterprise environment with a focus on SCCM packaging, Group Policy configuration, Intune, and desktop engineering. This role is ideal for a strong Desktop Engineer who has moved beyond traditional desktop support and has hands-on experience configuring and deploying solutions across an enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will know how to build and package applications using SCCM, create and test Group Policies, troubleshoot deployment and update issues, and use SCCM to target specific machines and groups of devices.

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Schedule: Standard Monday–Friday Business Hours

Responsibilities

• Create SCCM packages and deployments to target specific machines and device groups
• Configure, create, test, and troubleshoot Group Policy (GPO)

Key Qualifications

• Understanding of how to identify where Group Policies are configured and how policies are applied to users and machines
• Experience with Microsoft Intune
• Experience troubleshooting software deployments, patching, and machines that are not receiving expected updates
• PowerShell or other scripting experience preferred
• Strong Windows desktop engineering and troubleshooting background
