Job summary

Computer World Services Corp seeks a detail-oriented Desktop Engineer – Windows to engineer, configure, secure, and maintain Windows environments in a federal IT setting. Responsible for vulnerability remediation using SCCM/MECM, NinjaOne, and PowerShell, building packages, and maintaining automation.

The role supports Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise deployments, with focus on securing and sustaining Windows configurations across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of desktop engineering or Windows system administration in enterprise IT environments.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems in enterprise client/server environments.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting experience.
• NinjaOne administration or engineering experience.
• Experience working in federal government IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Remediate Windows vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain SCCM/MECM packages and scripts.
• Monitor SCCM deployment status and report on device compliance.
• Provide Tier 3 Windows support and assist with AD/GP troubleshooting.
• Create PowerShell automation for remediation and deployment tasks.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams on vulnerability findings and remediation actions.
