Job Summary (Desktop Packaging Engineer)

• Build, test, and deploy Windows and macOS application packages for enterprise software delivery.
• Rapidly convert vendor patches and emergency security fixes into production-ready packages for vulnerability remediation, including zero-day threats.
• Collaborate with application owners, security, deployment, and support teams to ensure secure and reliable software packaging in alignment with SLAs and governance standards.
• Support forced deployments and timely remediation of High, Critical, and zero-day vulnerabilities across the endpoint environment.
• Design and develop moderately complex application packaging solutions and supporting infrastructure components.
• Ensure packaging solutions meet platform performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Author and maintain policies, standards, guidelines, and SOPs for packaging and deployment processes.
• Monitor and analyze advanced performance and capacity metrics to optimize solutions and ensure SLA adherence.
• Work in a dynamic environment requiring technical expertise and quick response to emerging risks.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (desired).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop engineering or application packaging.
• Proven experience with SCCM/MECM, Workspace One, or Microsoft Intune.
• Experience with enterprise application deployment.
• Strong understanding of Windows OS (10/11).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and change management.
• Experience with application packaging technologies (MSI, MSIX, App-V).

Desired Experience:
