Job summary

Empath Health is seeking a Desktop Support Administrator to maintain desktop and mobile device systems for colleagues across the service area and organization. You will install software, configure settings, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues while responding to tickets, calls, and on-site needs.

The role includes on-call duties, potential travel between facilities, and desk-side support when required. A 3+ year IT support background and Windows/MS Office proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• End-user IT support across desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
• Degree in CS or related field with 3+ years IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office applications.
• ITIL framework understanding and IT service management concepts.
• On-call rotation availability and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Supports end-users for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including telecom services and email.
• Creates solutions to correct and prevent ongoing system issues to minimize disruptions.
• Performs physical inventory of laptops and equipment and updates inventory records.
• Participates in on-call rotation.
• Travel between facilities for on-site support as needed.
