Job summary

EPIC Health Partners is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support across the organization. This role troubleshoots hardware and software, configures and maintains workstations, and assists staff with day-to-day technology needs to ensure reliable access to systems and tools.

You will set up desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripheral equipment; install software; support Microsoft 365; handle ticketing requests; and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of IT support or desktop support experience.
• Solid knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Experience supporting computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Ability to document requests via a ticketing system.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, and peripheral equipment.
• Install, update, and troubleshoot software applications on employee workstations.
• Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 applications and other business software.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and replacement of computer equipment.
• Assist with user account management, password resets, and access-related requests.
• Configure and support desk phones, voicemail systems, and basic telecommunications functions.
• Troubleshoot and maintain printers, copiers, scanners, and other office technology.
• Monitor, prioritize, assign, and update support tickets to ensure timely resolution and accurate documentation of technology and facilities-related requests.
• Submit, track, and coordinate facilities maintenance requests, ensuring issues are documented, communicated, and resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors, building management, and internal stakeholders regarding the status of technology and facilities support requests.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and technology assets and coordinate equipment repairs, replacements, and warranty services as needed.
