Job summary

Axtria seeks a System Administrator to support our on-site IT infrastructure in Berkeley Heights, NJ. The role requires 2+ years of experience, a Master’s degree or equivalent with MCSA/MCSE and CCNA certification, and expertise in Windows Server 2008/2012, Active Directory, and Exchange 2010.

You will maintain networks and configurations, provide Tier-I end-user support, document resolutions, manage cloud platforms, backups, and plan security. Onsite requirement: 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as System Administrator
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with MCSA/MCSE and CCNA certificates
• Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012 installation and administration
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and Exchange 2010
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11 clients and Linux
• Cloud platform management and networking knowledge
• Experience with backups and security planning

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams and clients to meet IT infrastructure needs
• Diagnose hardware and software problems and replace defective components
• Maintain networks and configurations; monitor performance
• Provide Tier-I end-user support via phone, email, or in person
• Document resolutions and maintain system diagrams and procedures
• Plan and implement network security measures to protect data
