Job summary

Tech Observer is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain and repair computer hardware and peripherals at client sites. You will troubleshoot systems, document changes, and assist users with configurations and security settings.

Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to lead others when needed are important. An associate's degree or equivalent is preferred, and on-site Lancaster work is common.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hardware/IT support is a plus.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to mentor other technicians if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
