Job summary

Getronics is seeking a Field Services PC Technician (L1) to provide onsite hardware support for desktops, laptops, tablets, and related devices in a customer-facing role. You will perform basic to moderately complex troubleshooting, install and repair IT products, and ensure SLA obligations are met with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant technical qualification and 6-12 months of work experience.
• Experience with deskside support and ticket management tools is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite hardware and break-fix services on laptops, desktops, workstations, tablets and related devices.
• Install, maintain, upgrade and repair IT products.
• Meet contractual SLAs and deliver within requirements.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Complete administrative tasks as documented in policies and guidelines.
• Carry out routine maintenance and parts administration.
• Handle service calls within established SLAs and company requirements.
• Follow security, safety, quality standards and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction.
