Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. seeks a Desktop Support and Executive Support Associate to deliver a high-quality technology experience for the firm’s users onsite in New York.

You will troubleshoot across Windows 10, Mac OSX, iOS, Zoom, and the Office 365 suite, own projects, and coordinate with BXTI teams using ServiceNow.

A strong technical degree and 10+ years in financial services IT are required, with a proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to lead initiatives.

Qualifications

• Major in Computer Science or other technical degree.
• 10+ years of technical support experience in the financial sector.
• Experience troubleshooting Zoom, Windows 10, Mac OSX, iOS, and Office 365.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision.
• Experience with LANs, VPNs, and coordinating with infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for computers, peripherals, iPhones, and iPads.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, and Windows 10/Office 365.
• Lead projects and mentor teammates to deliver outcomes.
• Set up workstations for new hires and moves weekly.
• Document work in ServiceNow and communicate with clients.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure and app teams on escalations.
