Job summary

OpenTalent in Ashland, Ohio seeks a Desktop Engineer to ensure robust desktop and endpoint operations across our enterprise. You will build, deploy, and maintain modern Windows and Mac images while leveraging Intune, Autopilot, and JAMF for device management.

You will reinforce security practices per NIST, collaborate with IT and security teams, and support Hyper-V and Azure environments to deliver scalable, reliable IT services.

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying Windows/Mac images.
• Proficiency with Intune, Autopilot, JAMF for device mgmt.
• Strong AD/Entra/Azure administration knowledge.
• Experience with MDM and security practices aligned to NIST.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and deploy Windows and Mac OS images.
• Manage endpoint devices using Intune, Autopilot, and JAMF.
• Oversee Windows Autopilot and MDM practices.
• Administer AD, Entra, and Azure environments.
• Support Hyper-V server infrastructure.
• Implement cybersecurity with NIST-aligned practices.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks.
• Respond to end-user tickets for deployments and updates.
• Document policies and technical guides.
