Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Toledo, OH is seeking a PC/Laptop/Desktop support engineer to manage end-to-end PC lifecycle management, including imaging, deployment, data migration, and end-of-lease processes. The role involves direct user support via phone, email, chat, or on-site visits.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with SCCM and Office 365, and the ability to coordinate with asset teams and vendors while ensuring updates and knowledge base articles

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience troubleshooting on Laptop/Desktops/Mobile devices.
• Knowledge of imaging PCs using SCCM environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PC LCM projects end to end with site contacts.
• Install applications and migrate data as required.
• Coordinate with asset team for timely asset updates on receipt or shipment.
• Pack and unpack PCs from vendors or sites.
• Return end-of-lease PCs to the lessor.
• Create/update knowledge base for new issues.
• Assist users via Phone/Email/chat or on-site visits.
• Support onboarding by deploying new PCs and collecting old ones during offboarding.
• Escalate incidents with proper documentation to technicians.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to troubleshoot various issues on Laptop/Desktop/Mobile Devices
• Printer and Network Troubleshooting
• Experience supporting Win 7, Win 10 and Office 365 applications
• Knowledge of imaging PCs using SCCM environment
• Good Communication skills
• Multi-tasking capabilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Driving PC LCM project end to end by coordinating with site contacts.
• Performing apps installation and data migration
• Coordinate with asset team to ensure asset updates are done as soon as new assets received or shipped to lessor
• Packing/Unpacking of PC's received from vendor or from different site
• Returning end of lease PC's back to the lessor
• Creating/updating knowledge base articles for any new issues
• Assisting users on various PC related issues via Phone/Email or chat over remote session or by visiting user desk
• Supporting new user onboarding by deploying new PC and then collecting old PC's during offboarding
• Escalate incidents with accurate documentation to suitable technician, when required.
• Coordinating with vendor for any hardware/software issues

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year
