Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer L1 to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity. The role focuses on hands-on desktop support, EUC troubleshooter, and basic data center tasks to keep end-user services running smoothly.

You will address Windows/Mac issues, manage Office 365, and support VIP users and AV setups. Collaboration with network, server and infrastructure teams is expected to ensure SLA-aligned incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Hands-on desktop support and EUC experience.
• Troubleshoot Windows and Mac desktops, laptops, hardware and software.
• Support Office 365 and troubleshoot applications.
• Configure and support printers, scanners and peripherals.
• Perform IMAC activities and manage IT assets.
• Basic DHCP, DNS and LAN networking knowledge.
• Provide VIP/executive and conference room AV support.
• Data center hands-on support including racking, cabling and SFP replacement.
• Document incidents, manage tickets and meet SLA.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user computing support and triage issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot desktop hardware and software on Windows and Mac.
• Assist with Office 365 issues and productivity apps.
• Configure and maintain printers, scanners and peripherals.
• Handle IMAC tasks and track IT asset inventory.
• Maintain basic network connectivity and IP services.
• Support executives and conference room AV setups.
• Assist in data center tasks including cabling and racking.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

• Hands-on experience in Desktop Support / End-User Computing (EUC).
• Troubleshooting Windows and Mac desktops, laptops, hardware, and software.
• Microsoft Office 365 support and application troubleshooting.
• Printer, scanner, and peripheral configuration and support.
• IMAC activities and IT asset management.
• Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, LAN connectivity).
• VIP / Executive support and conference room AV support.
• Data Center hands-and-feet support, including server racking, stacking, cabling, and SFP replacement.
• Incident management, ticket documentation, and SLA compliance.
