Job summary

Empath Health in Florida seeks a Desktop Support Administrator to deliver end-user IT support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices across the organization. You will install software, configure settings, and troubleshoot issues while handling on-call rotations and on-site deskside support between facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of experience in end-user IT support.
• Microsoft Certification on Office Applications and Windows versions preferred; CompTIA A+ preferred.
• ITIL knowledge and practical IT infrastructure exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user IT support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Install software and updates, configure system settings, and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Respond to tickets, calls, and walk-in requests; perform on-site deskside support when needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and travel between facilities as required.
• Maintain physical inventory of laptops and equipment and update inventory records.

Empath Health is seeking a Desktop Support Administrator is responsible for providing technical support and maintaining desktop and mobile device systems for colleagues within their service area and as needed, across the organization. This position involves installing software and updates, configuring system settings, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The Desktop Support Administrator responds to incoming ticket requests, calls, and walk-in requests and when needed, travels to other sites to provide on-site, deskside support to the client. Or, an equivalent level of education and experience.Microsoft Certification on Office Applications, Windows, 7, 8, and/or 10 strongly preferred.; CompTia A+ Certification strongly preferred.Knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) reference model.Experience with end-user IT support (e.g., Windows operating systems, PC hardware, antivirus tools. personal firewall tools, web browser, MS Office applications).Must be available for and participate in on-call rotation overnight and weekends.Ability to work on-site and travel between locations as needed.
