Description

SAIC is hiring three Deskside Support Technicians to support the Department of Health and Human Services. Two technicians will be based in Washington, D.C.

Job Details
  • Provide ongoing support to Executives and employees, including White Glove Deskside Support, IT Asset Management (ITAM), Network Printer, and MDM Support.
  • Be a key member of the IMAC Team, resolving, tracking, and managing escalated technical issues via ServiceNow, and contributing to documentation and process improvements.
Responsibilities
  • Support MaaS360 Mobile Device Management.
  • Implement and administer Active Directory accounts.
  • Use and administer Microsoft Exchange/Office365.
  • Plan and roll out Microsoft Windows 10 in an enterprise environment.
  • Install, connect, and maintain hardware including PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, and telephones.
  • Install and maintain software, including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Antivirus, and Malware protection.
  • Conduct user training as needed.
  • Respond to hardware and IT operations failures.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform routine system administration and health checks.
  • Manage IT asset inventories and update control systems.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables to internal customers.
  • Perform off-hours maintenance and deployments, and provide 24/7 support if necessary.
  • Escalate and resolve problems efficiently, perform root-cause analysis, and create documentation and KB articles.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a global team of IT and Desk Side specialists.
  • Provide occasional off-hours on-site support for maintenance and SLA fulfillment.
Qualifications

  • A+, Net+ certifications preferred.
  • HDI Certification(s).
Required Skills and Experience
  • High school diploma with 9+ years, Bachelor's with 5+ years, or Master's with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of networked environments, Windows OS (7/8/10), and hardware.
  • Excellent communication, dependability, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000, based on experience and other factors.
