Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268 (onsite)

Mode: Contract || Long Term

As a member of the Field Service Operations team, the candidate will provide high-quality support with excellent customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness. This position involves frequent face-to-face contact with end users, peers, and managers, primarily providing deskside support for service requests and on-site problem resolution. The candidate will work collaboratively with the Site Services department and support other IT teams including Audio Visual, Network, and Servers.

Job Description

As an Onsite Support Technician with 4-7 years of technical experience, your key roles and responsibilities include:

  • Managing SLA reporting, adherence, and contracts
  • Managing shift planning and on-call rosters
  • Optimizing resource productivity
  • Providing training and development for team members
  • Ensuring security compliance
  • Managing inventory levels across locations
  • Resolving service requests and incidents within SLA
  • Planning and executing move requests or project work
  • Installing and configuring desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Performing break-fix, deskside support, IMACD tasks, data migration, and health checks
  • Performing onsite updates, configuration changes, and software installations
  • Providing onsite support to end users at their desks
  • Identifying potential issues and taking preventive actions
  • Managing ticket queues and ensuring resolution within SLA
  • Coordinating with vendors for hardware support
  • Supporting security, access reviews, risk assessments, and compliance tasks
  • Collaborating with Level 3 support and project teams for service improvements
  • Supporting onsite/offsite events, meetings, and site setup
  • Providing disaster recovery support and emergency response
  • Providing on-call support outside business hours on a rotational basis
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with various desktop systems, OS, and technical environments
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Supporting Windows OS, MS Office, VPN, network printing, notebooks, and mobile devices
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot applications
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification
  • Willingness to travel to remote sites
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
