Job summary

Tellus Equipment Solutions seeks a Deskside Support Technician II to provide hands-on technical support across our corporate office and store locations in the San Antonio area.

Responsibilities include installing, configuring, diagnosing, and repairing computers and peripherals, setting up equipment for new hires, and assisting with basic network issues; travel to sites across South and Central Texas is required, with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows-based systems, hardware and peripherals.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to Tellus locations across South and Central Texas; mileage reimbursed for business travel.

• Diagnose and resolve employee technology issues.
• Assist with basic network and system troubleshooting.
• Install approved software, updates, and drivers.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory and service records.
• Provide onsite support at company locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Windows-based systems, hardware, and peripherals.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel to company locations supporting Tellus locations across South and Central Texas as needed; mileage is reimbursed for business travel.
• Must be able to lift and move at least 40 lbs.
• Ability to accommodate occasional overnight travel.
