Job summary

Aprilaire is seeking an L1 IT Support Technician to serve as the front line for deskside support across office, manufacturing, and light industrial environments in the Madison, WI area.

You will log, triage, and escalate tickets via Freshservice, image Windows endpoints, and assist with identity tasks, mobility devices, and asset management. This role provides exposure to enterprise IT within a manufacturing setting and modern workplace tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of progressive IT experience
• Demonstrated expertise in Windows Server
• Demonstrated expertise in Windows 11 enterprise environments
• Microsoft 365 and hybrid identity

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person deskside support across office, manufacturing, and light industrial environments.
• Serve as the first point of contact for incidents and service requests via Freshservice.
• Provision, image, deploy, and recover Windows endpoints using standard images.
• Perform Tier 1 identity tasks such as password resets and account unlocks.
• Assist with asset, inventory management and mobility devices like CK67 scanners.
