Cognizant’s CIS practice seeks a Team Lead - Desktop Engineer in San Francisco, CA. You will provide critical support to traders and front-office users, ensuring high availability of trading applications and market data platforms.

The role involves on-site and remote support in a fast-paced environment. You will manage incidents via ITSM tools, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to maintaining secure, reliable trading workloads.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in Trader Support, Front Office Support, or Financial Services IT Support.
• Experience in Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Asset Management, or Brokerage environments.
• Strong experience supporting Bloomberg, Refinitiv/Eikon, Reuters, and trading floor technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support to traders and front-office users ensuring high availability of trading applications, market data platforms, and trading floor infrastructure.
• Support trading and market data platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv/Eikon, Reuters, Fidessa, and OMS/EMS applications.
• Troubleshoot issues related to trading applications, market data feeds, desktops, laptops, and multi-monitor workstations.
• Provide onsite and remote support to traders in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with application, network, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and operational support to traders and front-office users ensuring high availability of trading applications market data platforms and trading floor infrastructure.
• Support trading and market data platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal Refinitiv/Eikon Reuters Fidessa and OMS/EMS applications.
• Troubleshoot issues related to trading applications market data feeds desktops laptops and multi-monitor workstations.
• Provide onsite and remote support to traders in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
• Manage incidents and service requests through ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools ensuring SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with application network infrastructure and vendor teams for issue resolution.
• Perform software installations upgrades user access management and hardware deployments.
• Maintain documentation and follow ITIL-based support processes.
• Experience supporting Bloomberg Refinitiv/Eikon Reuters and trading floor technologies.
• Strong Windows/Mac devices support and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Active Directory Citrix Microsoft 365 and basic networking (TCP/IP DNS).
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow Remedy etc.).
• Strong communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• 4-8 years in Trader Support Front Office Support or Financial Services IT Support.
• Experience supporting Investment Banking Capital Markets Asset Management or Brokerage environments.

Compensation: We are offering between $85,000 – $105,000. Applications will be accepted until Aug 28, 2026. Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in US without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
