Job summary

Peninsula Post Acute in Burlingame, CA is seeking a Part-Time Desk Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and supervise CNAs on shift. The role requires an active California LVN/LPN license and CPR/BLS certification, with PCC experience preferred.

You will participate in care planning, documentation, and regulatory compliance, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment for residents and a supportive team dynamic.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor resident health and report changes to physicians and supervisors.
• Complete accurate charting and clinical documentation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Supervise and support CNAs and nursing assistants during assigned shifts.
• Transcribe physician orders and maintain resident medical records.
• Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns professionally.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
